Top Ten Trials Part 2

Description

The objective of the Top Ten Trials session is to provide a multidisciplinary audience with a snapshot of the two most influential trials from each discipline within the past year. The selected trials will generally address important areas of cardiology and may influence clinical practice and inform future clinical guidelines. Usual format is a general presentation of the finding of the study by the Trial Presenter and then a deep dive of the data and relevance of that study by the Trial Discussant. The discussant in each discipline is asked to critically appraise the trials in the context of existing evidence. The discussant should also inform the audience how the trials might change perspective within the discipline or influence wider clinical practice.
